The Kid LAROI Scores His First Chart Topper with New Single ‘Stay’ Featuring Justin Bieber

The Kid LAROI is receiving one of his first accolades of his music career with his latest single “Stay” featuring Canadian pop singer, Justin Bieber. While Bieber is no stranger to chart topping singles (having three previously including the lead single of his most recent album ‘Peaches’), The Kid LAROI scored his first on Billboard’s Streaming Songs.

The song “Stay”, which was released on July 9th, accumulated 34.7 million streams from listeners in the United States within only its first week of availability. This is an extremely big accomplishment for The Kid LAROI, who at only 17 years of age, has shown that he possesses the chops to be a bigger name in the music industry. On top of being a talented rapper, he is also a singer, songwriter, and record producer.

In addition to this achievement, the young multi talented artist received the No. 10 spot on Billboard’s Hot 100 last July as a featured artist on the song ‘Hate the Other Side’ by the late rapper Juice WRLD and American producer Marshmello. This song also hit the No. 6 spot on Rolling Stone’s Top 100 when it came out in the summer of 2020. However as the lead artist, The Kid LAROI’s previous peak on Billboard’s Hot 100 was held by his earlier 2021 single “Without You” at No.14 with other placements on Billboard’s Hot Rock and Alternative, Hot R&B and Hip-Hop, Billboard’s Mainstream 40 and more.

Currently, ‘Stay’ sits at the No. 3 spot on Billboard’s Hot 100 chart, which is a promising spot for only its first week. We are highly anticipating if “Stay” will claim the number one spot on the charts, but furthermore, we are excited to see how the young rapper, The Kid LAROI progresses throughout his future years as an artist. With this much success at such a young age, he seems to be on the path to being a huge player in the music industry.
